Common questions

I finished my list and my apps are still blocked.
That's the design, not a bug. Finishing the list wins the day; the phone comes back when you hold Close today on the Today screen. Until you do, the screen says so — shields up until you close — and nothing you earned is at risk while you wait. Your apps also come back through an emergency unlock, or at your day boundary (4:00 AM unless you changed it).
An app is still blocked after I closed the day.
Open Consigo and bring it to the foreground — blocks are reconciled every time the app opens, so a quick launch usually resolves it. If it doesn't, write to us with your iPhone model and iOS version.
I need out of a session right now.
Use Emergency unlock on the Today screen while your apps are blocked. It asks you to type an exact confirmation sentence and wait 10 minutes, it resets your streak, and you get three a month on every tier — Pro doesn't buy more. It's deliberately costly, because you're the one who asked for this. Canceling the wait, or finishing your list before it ends, never uses one up.
I'm not getting notifications from blocked apps.
That's expected. While an app is blocked, its notifications go quiet — that's how blocking works on iOS, not a bug in Consigo. New notifications come through again the moment the app is unblocked; ones sent while it was blocked may not be redelivered.
Something left my shelf on its own.
The shelf sweeps lines you never got to, so it doesn't quietly become a backlog. Nothing is deleted: a swept line is written to your record, and if it still matters you can park it again. You choose the interval in Settings, anywhere from 3 to 14 days — it's 10 by default, and it's the same on both tiers.
How do I restore my purchase on a new phone?
Open the paywall in Consigo and tap Restore purchases. As long as you're signed in with the same Apple Account that bought Pro, it will reactivate. There's no account to log into and nothing for us to look up.
How do I delete my data?
Delete the app. Everything Consigo stores on your phone goes with it, and we hold no copy of it — there is no Consigo server for us to delete it from. Your backup lives in your own iCloud, under your Apple Account; you can remove Consigo's iCloud data from your Apple Account's iCloud storage settings, the same as for any other app. (Device backups you keep in iCloud are yours too, encrypted by Apple, and inaccessible to us.) Outside all of that sits what our subscriptions provider and Apple hold so that restoring Pro keeps working — see the Privacy Policy for what that is. Write to us if you want it removed too.
Is my task list or blocked-app list sent anywhere?
Not to us — Consigo has no account, and no Consigo server ever receives it. Your phone is the source of truth. It is backed up to your own iCloud, though, so a new phone doesn't cost you what you earned, and that backup does include the text you typed: today's list, your shelf lines, and the task titles in your past sessions, along with your streak, your record, your unlock log and your settings. It is your iCloud, under your Apple Account — there is no account to make, no export, and nothing we can read. Which apps you chose to block, and which you chose to allow, stay on your device: neither selection is in that backup and neither is sent anywhere. See our Privacy Policy, which also sets out what our subscriptions provider receives.
